Little Bennett's tough battle 👶🏥

During her 20th week of pregnancy, doctors told Christiana that her unborn son, Bennett, had a condition called Pulmonary Atresia. This meant a valve in his heart hadn't formed properly, and he would need immediate treatment after birth.

· Birth & First Procedure: Bennett, born on October 7, 2024, was immediately admitted to the NICU. He underwent his first heart procedure at just four days old.

· A Tragic Turn: When he was only 10 days old, Bennett suffered a cardiac arrest. He was put on life support and underwent his first open-heart surgery in his second week of life. 🩺💔

· The Struggle Continued: Five months later, he had to undergo another heart surgery.

Mother Christiana says her heart would break seeing the surgery scars on her tiny son's body. So that his son wouldn't have to bear these scars alone and would always know he is not alone, father Eric made a big decision.
